The TP Forever Foundation

BACKGROUND:

The TP Forever foundation was established in May of 2012 to prolong the memory and spirit of Anthony Michael Platt (Tony Platt). Tony was an amazing person with a huge heart, contagious smile, and an incredible sense of humor.  Even though he was taken from this world far too soon, this foundation will ensure that Tony continues to touch lives and that he is NEVER forgotten – TP FOREVER.

In order to keep Tony’s memory and spirit alive, the foundation will raise money annually for both the TP Forever Memorial Scholarship Fund at Oregon State University and the Oregon Humane Society. To date, a total of $27,000 has been donated to the TP Forever Memorial Scholarship Fund at Oregon State University and $18,615 to the Oregon Humane Society in Tony’s name. The first ever TP Forever Memorial Scholarship will be awarded in the Fall of 2013.

2013 TP FOREVER MEMORIAL GOLF TOURNAMENT:

The TP Forever foundation will host the 2nd annual TP Forever Memorial Golf Tournament on Saturday October 19, 2013 at The Reserve Vineyards and Golf Club. Please join us at the tournament to not only celebrate Tony’s life, but also support these two great causes that were dear to Tony’s heart. Golfers can register either as an individual or foursome. We are expecting another sold-out field for golf, so sign up now!

LAST YEAR’S GOLF TOURNAMENT:

The TP Forever foundation hosted the inaugural TP Forever Memorial Golf Tournament at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club on October 22, 2012. The tournament was a huge success! A sold out field of 144 golfers helped us raise more than $18,000. Those funds as well as general donations to the foundation allowed us to donate $10,000 to both the TP Forever Memorial Scholarship Fund at Oregon State University and the Oregon Humane Society in December of 2012. We are very proud of this accomplishment and could not have achieved it without the generous support of our donors, golfers, volunteers and sponsors. Thank you all!
